Su forma es alargada y tiene una longitud de 3,2km. Su territorio está declarado Parque Natural, y sus aguas de las costeras catalogadas como reserva marina. La isla cuenta con tres grandes y bellos faros, uno de ellos, el “Far Vell” o de “Na Popia” está ubicado en la parte central y más alta de la Isla (352m).
Sus aguas circundantes nos ofrecen varias posibilidades. Una es bucear en la zona del Levante, donde encontraremos diversos islotes con variados y luminosos fondos de rocas, arena y posidonia habitados por multitud de especies sedentarias y típicas del Mediterráneo.
La otra posibilidad es bucear en la cara Oeste así como en los extremos Norte y Sur de la isla, donde las aguas son más profundas y es posible contemplar especies marinas de gran tamaño como el Mero, las serviolas o los Dentones entre otras especies.
Durante el recorrido con la embarcación alrededor de la isla, podremos disfrutar contemplando los abruptos y espectaculares acantilados, donde anidan diversas especies de águilas, así como cormoranes y gaviotas.

Its shape is elongated of a length of 3,2 km. Its territory is declared as a Natural Park, and its coastal waters listed as marine reserve. The island has three big and beautiful lighthouses. One of them, the «Far Vell» or «Na Popia», is located in the central and highest part of the island (352m).
Its surrounding waters offer us several possibilities. One is to dive in the area of the Levant, where we can find many islands with diversified and luminous rock background, sandy bottoms and Neptungras inhabited by many sedentary species characteristic of the Mediterranean Sea. Another possibility is to dive at the west side, and in the north and south parts of the island, where the waters are deeper and it is possible to see large marine species such as grouper, the greater amberjack or the dentex.
During the trip with the boat around the island, we can enjoy contemplating the abrupt and spectacular cliffs, where several species of eagles, as well as cormorants and seagulls.
